I've added a couple of things and put it on a puff pastry square to make a tasty little mini tart. Very very simple, you could really use whatever fruits you have lying around, I just love this combination.
Makes 4 mini tarts
Ingredients:
1 reduced fat puff pastry sheet
1 large green apple, thinly sliced
1 ripe pear, chopped into squares
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbs brown sugar
Preheat oven to 220 degrees.
Slice the puff pastry into four squares. Lightly trace a 2cm wide border around the edge of the pastry squares without cutting through the bottom.
Arrange the apple slices over the pastry squares staying inside the borders. Mix the pear, raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl until the sugar and cinnamon is well mixed with the pear and raisins. Top the apples with this mixture. Bake in oven for 12 minutes. Serve immediately.
